On September 11th 2001, a horrible and never forgotten terrorist attack occurred in New York city. There were four total air-plains that made their way to two of the most prized buildings in the US, and those buildings consisted of the Pentagon in Washington and the Twin Towers in New York. One of the four planes landed in a abandoned field, another plane crashed into the Pentagon and the last two planes took out the Twin Towers. This event is now known as 9/11. The day after this horrific event, the government decided to make a law which was the Patriot Act. This act was meant to protect and save citizens from harm, but this means that the government has the right observe peoples privacy life by going through their personal devices. Now that I have told you background information of this event, the real question is, do you believe in the Patriot Act? …show more content…
For example, knowing that the government is looking out for its citizens is a true blessing and you cant ask for much more. On the other hand, people will argue that "privacy is more important". I think that privacy is a preference not a must have. For example, the government will have all of your personal records and files which is very disturbing.
