Title IX is known to be one of the greatest achievements in women’s history.
Many think Title IX only applies to sports, but sports is only one of the ten key areas addressed by this law(The Impact of Title IX). Title IX addresses access to high education, education for pregnant or parenting students, employment, learning environment, math and science, sexual harassment, standardized testing, and technology. It has been roughly forty years ago that women and girls were not given the same opportunities as men. Girls studies home economics, while math and science was a realm reserved for boys.
