One cup of water could change a person’s life when it’s contaminated. In a plan to save $200 million Flint officials changed water sources. While they tested the water it was claimed to be “perfectly good water for Flint “ they failed to test the existing pipes. By not testing the pipes it caused the water to be contaminated, and caused havoc on the people of FLint, Michigan.

Flint’s new water source was surface water which in comparison to groundwater is naturally more corrosive.
