Technology has been innovating and improving since the day it was invented. Every day, inventors find new ways to make technology better in any way possible. The medical field has been one of the biggest technological innovations in the world. Back then, people had to deal with the resources that they had, which was not many. Before there were doctors, much less the knowledge of medicine, the belief in witchcraft was becoming popular, and the people that practiced witchcraft did not have the tools to “cure” someone with. Wearable technology for patients has been one of the newer innovations to the health care system. Wearable technology is useful in many ways. For example, more patients are buying wristbands that can monitor their exercise and their health. These wristbands allow doctors to view their patient’s overall wellness, which can include mental and physical health. Wearable technology can also motivate the patient do their own rehabilitation process and they can also send all the patient’s data and information to the patient’s doctor so they can see the progress. Wearable technology, or wearables for short, can also be used as motion sensors for patients with spinal cord injuries. They are placed on the patient’s back to prevent any unnecessary movement and can prevent the spinal cord any additional sores. These sensors can also allow the doctor to view the patient’s progress and results. All of these wearable devices have started to greatly revolutionize and improve for patients who are using them and for the medical field who is able to provide these new innovations for many people around the …show more content…
Innovations such as new method programs that help medical billers and coders, electronic medical records, improvements in the way people study population science, wearable technology for all patients, and finally, computers are just a few ways that technology has benefited positively to the medical field. The future of the health care system is changing and revolutionizing as we know it, and it is all thanks to all the technological innovations that have been contributing to it for the past century. These innovations will hopefully keep on changing the health care system in a good way and will help it become better for the patients and for its health care
