The flying shoes prove that Percy was on a hero’s journey. This was allies and helpers because when Luke gave the shoes to Percy then to Grover it helped them with their journey. The hero’s journey says that the hero would fail without a helper. So if Percy did not give Grover the flying shoes the journey might of been a little bit harder. This is one part that I know Percy is on a hero’s journey.
