For my concert review I attended “The King and I Jr.” which was performed at Central Lutheran School. The King and I was about schoolteacher Anna (played by Leah Federwitz) who travels to a small county and teachers the children of the king. (played by CJ Criner) The cast was made up of children in fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grade. There were also two second graders in the performance. They sang a wide variety of songs throughout the musical. I thought Central Lutheran Schools production of “The King and I” was wonderful. It was way better then what i was expecting. The talent level was so high. It did not seem like it was ten to fourteen year olds singing, dancing, and acting. There were a few songs, and people that stood out to me. Another solo that stood out to me was CJ Criner’s solo which was called “A Puzzlement”. Like Leah, he also sounded very mature.
