Redemption is the action of regaining pride you once lost before. In the story The Kite Runner, the protagonist, Amir, lost his pride during his childhood when he pushed the limits of his friendship with Hassan. I do believe that everyone deserves a second chance because if a person has learned their lesson, they won’t make the same mistake they did before. Here are three examples of why everyone deserves a second chance.
Firstly, Amir took a big hit of revenge when Baba died. Baba shaped Amir to the man he became and Amir spent most of his childhood trying to gain Baba’s pride, so when Baba passes, Amir is pretty devastated.
