In the book The Kite Runner by Kaled Hosseini there are many themes. The main theme in the the book is friendship. One reason is Amir and Hassan friendship they are like brothers. The second reason why friend ship is the Main theme is because Amir grows up with Hassan. The last reason the main theme is friendship is because Hassan got raped for Amir. In conclusion there are many themes in the book The Kite Runner by Kaled Hosseini and the main one is friendship.

The first reason why friendship is the main theme is because Amir and Hassan are like brothers. One why they are like brothers is Hassan would always listen to Amir. "I talked Hassan into firing walnuts with his slingshot at the neighbor's one-eyed German shepherd. Hassan never wanted to, but if I asked, really asked, he wouldn't deny me. Hassan never denied me anything" (page 3 and 4). This explains that Hassan would do anything for Amir. There relationship is so strong Hassan can't say know and he would help Amir with anything. Assef wanted the kite and Hassan was trying to protect it for Amir. Then assef raped Hassan. "But before you sacrifice yourself for him, think about this, Would he do the same for you" said assed (page 72). This explains that Hassan would do anything for Amir. Hassan was so loyal that he would do that for Amir. In conclusion the main theme in the book is friend ship is because Hassan got raped for Amir.
