The passage starts off by a group of people going to see a movie about the animal kingdom in Africa. At the beginning of the movie, a lion is presenting his newly born child to the Pride Lands. Meanwhile, the community of the Pride Lands are hoping for one day that the new infant lion will be the king. But not everything in the Pride Lands is happy, good, and behaves very well.
There is one lion, who happens to be the king's brother named Scar. Scar has nothing, no cubs, he is just a black mane. His and the hyenas of the outside dark land goal is to kill the king. But instead, the hyenas overpopulate and kill all the game. Suddenly, after their lands are destroyed by the hyenas, the little newly born lion rises to power. Simba grows a little older, gets a little experience in his body, gets his mind on the right track and defeats Scar and the hyenas and sends them back to the dark, gloomy side.
When someone mentions The Lion King as racist, that is just their own opinion. In their view, they could say that they made the movie as a kids movie and wanted to make the kids realize that the world that they are living in is nothing but a hurtful, alarming environment. And maybe they think that these kids would look back at it one day and want to help change the world, do their little part in everyday society.
But in my opinion, the movie the Lion King is far from racist. This movie is for children and for families together to have an entertaining night. The Lion King can be a very entertaining movie that is educational and entertaining for children. Every single person in the world has their very own opinion on things and some may be right, good opinions and some may be bad, disagreeing
