The Lorax I watched the move The Lorax for our lab. It was produced by Universal Studios in 2012. I chose to watch this movie because I feel like it tells a great story and teaches a lesson in a very fun way. I do think that it relates back in today's world because there are people and places that cut down trees and do not replace them and then there is a problem with that area that drives that animals out of their habitat, or worse they could die. The Lorax tells the story of a guy who wanders into the forest and starts to cut truffala trees to make thneeds so he can make a living and become rich and famous. He was a no one who didn't know where he was going in life and his family was disappointed in him until he comes to the forest and discovers these wonderful trees. When he cuts down the very first tree the Lorax comes out of the stump and warns him to stop cutting down the trees or else all of the animals will have nowhere to go and everything will be a mess. He agrees and claims he won't cut down any more trees. He still ends up cutting down the trees to produce thneeds and invites his family to come out to the forest and help him produce these in the factory he builds. In the end he ends up cutting down all of the trees and all of the animals end up leaving because they have no habitat. The Lorax comes and gives him one seed and tells him this is the last truffala tree seed. This movie is a fictionalized movie. Though it is fiction I think it portrays a great way of the moral of the story. I think that the little kids who watch it will get an idea of a problem that we actually have here in the world and then the y could take action about it. The Lorax presents a very clear picture of the problem, which is cutting down trees without replacing them. I think the view on both sides of the story is fair. I think it is fair because they show the side of the animals who need their habitat and then they show the side of the main character who cuts down the trees to make a living. The movie gives a nice portray of the whole story and then
