William Falkner William Faulkner once said, “The [writer's] voice need not merely be the record of man, it can be one of the prophets, the pillars to help him endure and prevail”. There are many books that relate to this quote, but the one that I chose were the Lord of the Rings written by J.R.R Tolkien and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. In both books, the main character has to go through a lot of hard times and they had to do a lot just to survive but at the end they prevailed. In The lord of the rings the main character had to go on a long tortuous journey. In the Hunger Games, the main character has to fight for her life in a game of death. I think this quote needs to be implanted in people's brains you should never give up not matter the circumstances.
