For instance, he makes sure that the commandments that he creates can apply to all of the animals and that “all animals are equal.” With Snowball still a part of Animal Farm the commandments will not be changed or violated. The loss of Snowball leads to many revolutionary events, such as Napoleon’s dictatorship. After the animals are no longer controlled by the humans, they establish their own community, Animal Farm. As stated on page ___“The flag was green, Snowball explained to represent the green fields of England, while the hoof and horn signified the future Republic of the Animals which would arise when the human race had been finally overthrown.” Snowball represents all of the animals and is not particular to any specific animal. He is responsible in showing that all of the animals work as one under this flag. For example, the green fields are the grounds of Animal Farm, the hoof symbolizes the horses, and the horns symbolize the goats. Moreover, the flag shows Snowball’s determination to help the animals easily transition into an animal ruled farm, not one operated by humans. Unlike Napoleon, Snowball believes that humans should cease to exist, and he shows his support for this belief in all of his speeches.
