The book and movie “The Lovely Bones” is about a girl who gets murdered and her family that tries to find the murderer. Susie Salmon is the main character who dies and is the narrator. Susie is a 14 year old freshman in high school that lives in Pennsylvania. The Salmon’s neighbor, Mr. Harvey, notices Susie and wants to rape and murder her. Mr. Harvey builds an underground fortress and lures Susie in and murder and rapes her. After her murder her family falls apart as they try to find her murderer. There are a lot of similarities and differences in the book and movie. In the book, Susie was raped and murdered, but in the movie she was only murdered.
