The Milky Way, a phenomenal documentary by Jon Fitzgerald that brings awareness to breastfeeding and its positive effects for the new mother and baby. The documentary takes the audience through a little history about breastfeeding and then through a series of mothers who were not able to breastfeed, historians, and marketers who are mothers, with the exception of one male interviewee. Breastfeeding is posed as the right way to naturally feed your child and for every woman in the documentary she wanted that her child/children. The film is more than a breastfeeding promotion and awareness film but a film by and for women, especially mothers.
