The Chamber Theater Productions show called Encore, which included the story The Monkey’s Paw, was a well put on play. The theater in Frederick, Maryland was a historic theater built in 1917. There were some distractions and mistakes that took away from the overall experience of the show. The Monkey’s Paw is a creepy story but does not seem that way in the beginning.
The Monkey’s Paw was one of the favorite performances of the day. It is a story by W.W. Jacobs about a young couple and their son who receive a monkey's paw that can grant three wishes. The small family wishes for 200 pounds but does not receive it the way they want it. The parents receive the money because the company the son works for gives them 200 pounds for consideration
