The Moose and The Sparrow

Never underestimate the ability of people based on their size, sometimes even a sparrow can take down a moose. In “The Moose and the Sparrow”, by Hugh Garner, Cecil is responsible for the sudden and unexpected death of Madden Moose. Cecil is an intelligent young man who has the access the the murder weapon, he had so much hate in his heart that it led to the murder of Madden Moose. Cecil was an intelligent young man who studies at U.B.C. and is very ambitious. Cecil was spending the summer at the logging camp to earn money for “his next year’s tuition.” (Garner 3) This proves that Cecil was a hardworking man who was indeed intelligent. Furthermore, Cecil’s “ambition was to continue on to law school.” (Garner 3)
