Learning about all the characters from these past lessons, Macbeth has came alive for me more than any other character. Macbeth was a very greedy, guilty and yet ambitious man. He stopped at nothing to get what he wanted, even if it meant killing his friend, Banquo.

Macbeth was a very greedy man because he wanted all the power. Like most people today, Macbeth wanted to feel powerful, or have all the power. Macbeth was the King of Scotland. He would stop at nothing to be King, just like most humans will stop at nothing to get what they desperately want. I'm not saying that every human will do horrible things to get what they want, like Macbeth, but it is human nature to work for something that one desperately desires. Everyone at one point in their lives wants to feel powerful.

Guilt for the killings of the many people he killed. When a person feels guilty, it starts to show. They start acting different, tend to be more kind. In Macbeths case, he showed his guilt in his sleep. He once hullicanted Banquo when at a banquet. His guilt started to get to him, and take over his life. He tried everything to cover up the murders he comitted but failed when he started to sleepwalk. He started acting very differently, and soon started to confess his crimes in his sleep, which Lady Macbeth tried to cover. His heart was heavy with guilt and it showed.

Although Macbeth felt guilty and was a very greedy man, he has a lot of ambition. Ambition toward power. He would stop at nothing to get the power he desired. He was driven, and devoted to the choices he was making due to being over ambitious. Many people feel ambitious, it's just human nature. Many people are ambitious when it comes to their dreams, Macbeth was over ambitious to fulfill his dreams and it took a toll on him. It's good to be ambitious, and for one to chase their dreams, but it's not good to be over ambitious and stop at nothing, hurting people in the process, to get what one
