Mental illness is a very serious disease that is to not be taken lightly. In the world literature, many authors love to drop hints of what is to come, which is called foreshadowing. In the movie Of Mice and Men, foreshadowing is an amazing tool that the Narrator uses in order to build the upcoming drama. The viewer can immediately infer that Lennie has a mental illness issue which leads to him being very strong.
