Have you ever been mad at someone and you get upset. Right now in your life you might dislike someone now. In the future they could become your best friend. In S.E. Hilton’s The Outsiders Darry got mad at Ponyboy and he disliked his brother for a while. But later in the book he becomes necessary of how Ponyboy felt when Darry didn't care for him to much.
Earlier in the book Darry has had a couple of time when he has be angry at people. Darry asked Ponyboy where he was and why he was out so late at night. Ponyboy said that he was out walking around town. Darry hit Ponyboy in the face and Darry was upset at Ponyboy for getting home late and not telling Darry where he was.
