Fourteen-year-old greaser Ponyboy Curtis went out to go see a movie alone since his two older brothers were too busy to attend. Ponyboy is from the poor side of town where people dress simple and know how to steal and fight and they are enemies with the fancy people the socias, who liked to beat up greasers for fun. Ponyboy curtis was returning home from the theaters when he realized there was a red car following him for about three blocks, Ponyboy knew it was the Socs he tried to escape but he was to slow and he immediately got pinned down and got cut upped a bit,But then his brothers and gang came and helped him from any severe harm. Pony is very unsure about his older brother Darry “love” and he wishes he could care a little more about him.

The next evening Pony goes downtown with Dally and Johnny, two of Pony’s former gang members. Dallas has seen some girls and he starts bothering them and then when Dally left, Pony and Johnny started chatting with the two girls who were socs, Dally came and started to play aggressive with the girls and then Johnny told him to stop. Dally was surprised at first and then stormed off.After that Cherry (the girl Dally was trying to get) invited Pony to …show more content…
