The Outsiders Persuasive Speech

It was September 14th in the late morning when it all happened. The church in Windrixville somehow caught fire while a school was having a local picnic with the third graders. Turns out some of the kids were playing inside before the fire started. Then, out of nowhere, two heroes came to save the day, rescuing the kids from being burned. They had some injuries in the process, but we owe them a lot of gratitude.
“They saved these children” one witness said. “They saved them from burning to death.”
Everyone has taken looks at these boys, and found the following stories about the Curtis brothers. Apperently, one of the Curtis brothers is in charge of the two others. “What's it like living with your brothers?” an interviewer asked to a young man

After looking at their past it turns out they were searched by the police for a murder charge and Dally had a long record with them. They were not punished however because it was an act of self-defense. The boy who was murdered was named Bob Sheldon, who was a Soc and he apparently attacked Johnny and Ponyboy. After the incident with Bob they ran away from home so they won't be caught by the police.
After the rescue the boys were sent to a hospital right away. Ponyboy Curtis didn’t have any life threatening injuries but Johnny was in critical condition. His backbone had been broken when a piece of timber fell on him. He was in severe shock and was suffering from third-degree burns. Sadly his condition is getting worse but we hope he will heal and fully recovers. One of Dally’s arms was badly burned and would be scarred for the rest of his life, but it will be okay after two or three days in the hospital, the docter said.
We thank the boys for sacrificing their lives to save the children and risking their lives for others. Later on we will see how our heroes are and how they recovered. “I swear, you three are the bravest kids I’ve ever seen in a long time. I think you were sent straight from heaven.” one of the teachers
