Fishing in the Pacific ocean can bring many good things, but can also have some negative effects and problems. From damaging the ocean, endangering the animals, and over fishing to where animals go extinct, the booming business is slowing down due to the numerous negative effects that come with fishing. Fixing the problems and learning from the mistakes can help make a better business and help preserve the ocean and its inhabitants.
While there are many pros to fishing in the Pacific ocean, learning may be the biggest. Finding new species while fishing is very important to our understanding and education. Knowing about the different species that swim in the ocean, and what is out there, is important for agricultural reasons.

Due to over fishing in the Pacific ocean, many of the ocean's creatures are going extinct. Over fishing has been a big problem in the Pacific ocean for many years. The improper and careless ways of fishing are contributing to the extinction and danger of many animals, wildlife, and the homes to the animals. The improper techniques and equipment are endangering the animals and are inhibiting other people to fish. There are many problems when it comes to fishing.
There are four main dangerous and improper ways of fishing in the Pacific ocean. They are bottom trawling, cyanide fishing, dynamite fishing, and ghost fishing. Not only are these methods dangerous to the fish and wildlife, but also the humans.
Bottom trawling is very dangerous and damaging to the ocean floor. This method uses a trawl with tires that holds a net to scoop up the fish.
