Television Viewing Throughout the nation many families seem to have problems because of the improvement of technology throughout the years. The short story “The Pedestrian” by Ray Bradbury, displays how television viewing is becoming harmful to families and society. The main character, Mr.Mead was viewed as absurd because he was a writer and neither did he own a television. Another literary piece is “Primal Screen” by Ellen Goodman, covered how families are not the same as the ones see television. We blackout everyone and everything around us.
