What is perfect? There are many that try to reach for perfection and fail because in a realistic point of view there really isn’t anyone who’s 100% perfect. In this book, there are many things that can be considering them not perfect but are being told as perfection. Being king, being in love, being a friend, being a fighter, being in a different culture, and being what you believe you should be. All these bring together the book of Ramayana. A perfect king, in this book is Rama and he is viewed at what perfection truly is. Loved by everyone who comes his way. Followed when he was banished, respected by all g-ds, having good hearted characters he comes across help him in his travels. Rama’s perfection is based off his well-being of who the person he is at this point in his journey. Being so well known and loved and cherished. In a different view, there is no such thing as the perfect leader where everyone respects his or her choices. Everyone in this realistic view of the present time, have opinions, have options, have a voice. Then you read about a man where every voice says the same words, that you just want to know who and how can this be true. Sounds too controlling in some matters but if the king is seen as perfect what can you fight about. Every woman wants to be as perfect as the Queen Sita, she can’t do wrong if she ss with Rama. Woman want to be like her and they even do their best to dress like her. Perfection is a different meaning for Rama and Sita as King and Queen.
