Have you ever been to a wildlife reserve and just look at the nature around you? Just watching the deer running across the open field, the coons up in the trees playing. Well thanks to the work of the Game Warden the wilderness can be in peace. Game Warden is a federal funded police force to help protect the United States wild life. Game Wardens, the only police force dedicated to protect our country’s environment, well yeah there are park rangers, and other small groups, but Game Wardens have more federal jurisdiction when it comes to catch the people who did wrong to our wildlife system.
Game wardens make good money; an average family of 4 can survive off a paycheck. Game wardens make approximately $77,846.04 and that’s after twenty years on the force, but with taxes and other withdrawals such as insurance and social security something that goes for the lost paid

They are also the only police force that can arrest judges, and federal judges without warrants, if suspected of illegal hunting of wild game or endangered animals. Without Game Wardens I believe that our countries wildlife would have been killed off due to urban expansion making more room for shopping malls, and corporate buildings. The fact that they are underpaid kind goes to show that money is being spent in the wrong places. There are state Game Wardens and there are Federal Game Wardens who can cross state lines if need to make arrest, also the special agents of the Federal Game Warden focus on effective enforcement of the federal laws that are meant to defend against many threats our wildlife resources faces.
