It’s Valentine’s day, many believe this holiday is about celebrating love and enjoying life, but for others the death of their child. Imagine sending your child to school thinking that they would be safe from any harm and to learn. In total there has been 290 school shootings across the United States of America since 2013. These children are traumatized seeing the death of their fellow classmates and for some, sibling(s), friend(s), or even best friend(s). These children were given a week in order to recuperate from this tragic situation they were put through. That’s not enough time, many will be depressed because those empty seats are not because that child is sick, but due to the fact that they were one of the victims that was shot and killed. There was barely violence and children were able to roam around outside without their parents worrying where they are. There was little crime to be acknowledged and there wasn’t that many bad news. In today’s situation, our society are afraid of our children playing outside by themselves and are worried about if their children are safe. This leads to many children playing video games for which some are violent such as Call Of Duty Black Ops. These children are our futures and the way they are raised plays a huge role on how they develop as a person. Recently, there was a school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Parents send their children to school thinking that their child would be safe from harm, but now this school is grieving from the loved ones they have lost. This school shooting was caused by a 19 year old, whose mental state was not all there because of the way he was raised. The shooter, Nikolas Cruz, was able to purchase such weapon with no restrictions. Why is this weapon even allowed in the market, if it’s not used for other matters such as
