When it comes to the idea of socialized medicine, there are many things that are very good for our nation, but at the same time there are things that could be bad for our nation. When it comes down to determining what is good versus what is bad, you will get many different answers depending on who you ask and what their political views are. For example, Conservatives may think one thing while Liberals would think the exact opposite. Some of my thoughts come from an article on studentnewsdaily, where they compare the Conservative views to the Liberal views on many different issues, including socialized medicine. Conservatives believe that all Americans should be able to have access to health care, but the government should not be in control of it. They believe that when the government steps in, it will lead to higher costs, via taxes, for mediocre health care. This is because I have been raised in a very Conservative family, and my grandpa has made sure that I know the dangers of too much government power. Socialized medicine gives the government more control, and lets them determine where we get health treatment. I also don’t like that this would come out of the expense of the wealthier. Yes, it’s great that everybody would be able to have health care, and I know that there are many people that just can’t help the fact that they can’t afford to pay for health care. However, I still get the feeling that we are bailing out the poor. I know that they aren’t all this way, but there are many people who aren’t responsible with their money, and who live carelessly. These people don’t deserve to have health care paid off for them, and we would be giving these people health care, bailing them out, at the expense of those who work hard and earn their
