The Supreme Court has the responsibility of making sure that whatever law our government wishes to pass are within the rights of every citizen and does not exceed its power. The Supreme Court make all the decisions that constitutes new law involving Congress that will go into effect as well as notifying Congress that a law it passed violate the Constitution. The judges that make these decision on behalf of the United States are individuals who will not serve one term as a justice or a brief period, but they are appointed for a lifetime to serve as a justice along with eight others, nine in total. According to Budziak, J. (2012), “Decision Making represents an important contribution to the study of judicial behavior. The merging of case law analysis and statistical modeling sheds important light onto the complex, nuanced process of Supreme Court decision making. Rather than succumbing to the temptation of offering a "one-size-fits all" approach” (Budziak, 2012) decision making done by the Supreme Court is more complex then we think due to all the analysis and careful consideration that is given to case that do arise to the level of the Supreme Court. The pros to having a justice serve a lifetime in the Supreme Court if the individuals elects to do so, is the court experience in having already participated in many cases where careful analysis of issues in need of desperate attention as well as cases that require the utmost importance that may or may not affect the rights of citizens and not rushing to an conclusion to any of the issue that are presented without first listening to both parties and delegating amongst themselves before giving a
