The main characters in Paper Towns are Margo Roth Spiegelman, Lacey Pemberton, Ben Starling, Radar, and Quentin Jacobsen, but everyone calls him Q.The less important characters are Quintin's parents, Margo’s parents, Becca, Jase, Becca’s dad, the security guard, and the detective. The protagonists are Quinten, Lacey, Ben, And Radar. They are her friends and they're trying to find her.The antagonist are Margo’s parents. Margo’s parents are the antagonist because, they don’t really care if she goes missing anymore, because she has run away so many times before.
The story takes place in many different places. They all live in Orlando, Florida but, they travel to quite a few places.They travel to Aloge, New York, Orlando and some old subdivisions. Until her and Quinten talked it out, they ended up talking about the story, she wrote about how she wanted her life to be. Quintin stayed talked for hours to Margo, they even laid down and stargazed. Margo had told Quinten that she wanted to go to college and she was moving away.They buried her notebook with the story in it.As a promise to stay friends,even though she wanted to stay in New York and go to college.They went their separate ways, Margo ended up staying in New York, Quinten went back home.
This is by far my favorite book that I have read this year. I probably like it so much, because it has so much mystery, friendships, and is so intriguing.I liked how much it drew me in once I picked it up I couldn’t put it down.There were friendships broken, but so many made. Margos friendships with many people were broken but some were remade like with her and Lacey. There was alot of mystries like where she went and why she left. I would rate it a 20 stars out of
