Are you looking for a fun movie you can watch with your friends at your sleepover this weekend? Try out the movie The Sandlot. This movie is packed with adventure and is really funny. Check with an adult before you watch the movie. The movie Sandlot is an okay movie. Some of the pros are that it teaches about friendship, it is very funny, and the characters are good actors. Some of the cons are it is pretty unbelievable, their word choices are not so great, and it is very predictable. The Sandlot is directed by David Evans.

#1: This movie teaches about friendship. Scotty’s friends helped him when he was in trouble and they included Scotty when he was left out. So, when you have good friends they will help you out in the bad times. For instance, when Scotty got into the “pickle”, Benny helped him out and tried to get the ball back for him. Second, Benny didn’t even know Scotty and he invited him to play baseball with him and his friends. #2: Funny Some funny things about this movie is the Beast Story. The characters do a good job of explaining and making the story really entertaining. They also try to scare Scotty with their story of “The Beast”. Also, when they have the challenge discussion with the other baseball team. The boys have a quick exchange of words to make it exciting and funny. #3: Good Acting In the movie the boys do a great job of facial expressions and making it look real. For instance, at the carnival the boys do a good job of making themselves look sick and making it an exciting scene. When they do the insults, they do a good job of showing their faces. They also do a good job of bringing the character to life.
