Life-Altering Decision

Life comes with numerous opportunities to make simple and complex decision. The key is the way an individual goes about making the decision can determine ones path. In my life there has been some difficult decision that I have made some were hasty others were well thought out but either way it has taken me on an interesting path.
Problem
I grew up in a strict religious household with my month and sister. Our relationship was close and our childhood was enjoyable. As I grew older I wanted to branch out and pursue a career rather than religion all the time. My mom made it clear to my sister and I if we to ever pursue worldly pursuits she would disown us Generating Alternative Solutions
Should I continue to be unhappy and hold my feelings inside is the question I asked myself? I weighed heavily on the decision that this could break my mother’s heart, and if she did stick with her word of disowning me would I be able to deal with her breaking all contact with me. Evaluating alternatives The decision was agonizing I tried to reason with my mom that I’m not abandon my beliefs or values I’m simply pursuing a career. No matter what I said her mind was set if I distant myself from our religion she will disown me.

Making the Choice I weighed all my alternatives, it was a battle of pleasing my mother or living life, meeting new people, and being happy after all options were weighed and all reasoning exhausted I decided to pursue a career. Implement and Evaluating I immediately searched for a perfect university that was right for me to advance
