Renowned most notably for his achievements Hamilton has affected the newly created United States of America through his personality, and his resolute beliefs in the ideals of this country. Personality shapes and defines who you are, for Hamilton his personality came from his ‘impoverished origins’, being the son of a Scottish peddler Hamilton constantly wagered against the odds in order to prove his worth. Hamilton's personality showed whether wagering against a British stronghold, or imposing a new fiscal plan in the brand new government. Hamilton saw problems as a personal challenge that was necessary to prove his worth, sadly however this led to his demise. Hamilton’s death is attributed to his personality of never stepping down from a challenge, this challenge being a duel with one of his enemies Col. Burr.
