Richard Moy, the author of “The Silver Lining”, explained how he dislike his boss and how horrible he is, but that was what made him a better employee. How even the “nitpicky detail that are important” later allow him to be in bigger project, because he paid attention. Also allow him to improve as he grew more professional from fixing his mistakes. However, even the worst boss is still a human as they also have their share of pressure. That is why step back and think “if you can find a silver lining or two” making the work a little more bearable. Compare to Moy’s boss, my most difficult person to deal with will be a classmate who use to be my friend during my high school year time. I first met him from a friend when they were still a couple during my second year of high school. When I saw him, I thought he seem like is a nice friendly guy. Even thought, his girlfriend told me he is a bit annoying. I did not think about it much until I realize how wrong I was to forget what she had said to me. I should had gotten that hint. As even his girlfriend, who was also his childhood friend, could not stand him. He was fine at first, so I let down my guard thinking he is not as annoying as I thought. I would think AmLa 43 is easier as I can understand what is going on. I still remember what I felt when the class first started. When I first experience the first class of AmLa 43W, I thought this class will be fun and strict at the same time. I was right as I learn better about grammar, sentences, and essay structure while laughing at Barbara jokes. How Barbara is strict on the essay allow me to understand more about the mistake I made to improve on. That I felt like I improve the most in Barbara’s class compare to all the other English class I have taken
