Malala Yousafzi is a twenty year old girl who was shot by the Taliban at age fourteen for wanting to go to school. Jack Maudelbaum was a teenager during the Holocaust and lost all his family when they went to Auschwitz and he went to another concentration camp. Both of these people faced adversity in different ways but overall had similarities about how they handled overcoming their adversity.
