The novel The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson showcases the main character, Lennie, and how her life changes after her sister Bailey's death. Throughout this story, Lennie learns many lessons about life and even her sister. The most important things she learns is that she can honor her sister by living her life with spirit and joy and being the author of her life. Sh realizes this by the interactions she has with other characters in the book. After Bailey’s death, Lennie starts to have a mix of emotions she has never had before.
