Imagine a world where people have no freedoms and everything they did was watched and closely monitored. How would you feel? Would you rebel? Some characteristics of a dystopian society is that information, independent thought, and freedoms are usually restricted, citizens are under constant surveillance, citizens conform to uniform expectations and individuality and dissent are bad.
