In the text, “I felt a funeral in my brain” and the text, “the tell tale heart” Poe and Dickinson develop the central idea of madness throughout the story and poem by creating narrators who are crazy and by using repetition and playing with the order of events.These two texts connect by, how madness is played throughout both texts.I felt a funeral in my brain shows madness by how the narrator is crazy in the head and feels dead inside their brain.In the tell tale heart madness is shown all over the story by, how the narrator want’s to kill an innocent old man for a vulture eye.
