The Toxic Leaves

A French anthropologist, Marcel Martial made a study of foreign cultures which had customs similar to those of his native land. One culture in particular fascinated him because the toxic leaves were being used a lot more than in any other culture. The tribe Dr. Martial studied is called the Ceeger and is found on the European continent south and southeast of Albania. It is a developed society and it has an overwhelming population of humans getting addicted to the leaves. Most developing societies have a higher percentage of leaf addicts because they are unaware of the effects. Although humans all over the world are addicted to the leaves, Ceeger has the most leaf addicts in the world. On Earth it is almost a social obligation to have not tried the leaves. If you had not tried the leaves at all you would be held in low esteem by the community because you were considered not cool. Some people on earth and in that tribe display their social prestige by going beyond and using the next transformation of the leaves.
Unfortunately the humans are not really healthy and usually don’t live as long as they expect to because the leaves can cause many diseases to the human body. Many youths start at a young age and at the age of fifteen they try their first leaf and soon after that they get addicted to it. They start to buy packs of leaves and use it every day.
