In this chapter, Micah is accusing the wealthy strata of the Israelites of oppressing the impoverished members of society by exploiting them in deceiving them within business, as stated in verse ten and eleven. The wealthy individuals continue to accumulate wealth from manipulating others while conducting business transactions with them.
