The Trevor Project currently has multiple social media pages such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and many others to help promote their non-profit organization. The Trevor Projects main strategy right now is to “ end suicide among gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning young people” (The Trevor Project, 2015). As previously stated, the Trevor Project has multiple strategy techniques when it comes to engaging their audience to participate in their cause. Their first strategy would be their crisis services. The Trevor Projects crisis service allows young LGBTQ people in need of support to contact them allowing the youth to receive assistance. The Trevor Projects third strategy is to educate people who have friends or family in the LGBTQ community. They plan on implementing this through their workshops and by spreading it through their social media websites. The Trevor Projects last strategy is to support laws that will help prevent LGBTQ suicides. They go about this by supporting the funding for LGBTQ suicide prevention and the research that goes with it as well as partnering with others to help ensure that there is a decrease in suicide among these youths. All of these strategies, such as the TrevorSpace, and educational readings can be found on the main Trevor Project website. This being said the Trevor Project has also set four main goals to accomplish in the year of 2015. These goals are, enhancing their reach out towards youth in the LGBTQ community, improving themselves online through their social media resources, find easier ways to track their data, and lastly they want to make sure that their organization is growing at a stable
