Most people do not know a lot about the Trobriand Islanders culture. This is the main reason that I chose to write about their culture, this makes their culture the perfect one to learn about. The Trobriand Islands is what makes their culture be able to develop how it has, where the island is positioned makes it the second largest island in the world. Without the location they inhabit there would be no culture that can be formed in any form. The majority of the people who live on the island, farm and focus only on growing enough only for themselves and their own family. There are a lot of unique aspects about the Trobriand culture, but one of the most unique is their social structure favoring woman. This is also known as subsistence agriculture.
