By using syntax, diction, figurative language, and imagery and a very investigative tone, “The Tyger” by William Blake reveals a mystical creature of beauty and the author is trying to figure out exactly this individual is and where it is from. The author describes the “Tyger” as “burning bright in the forest of the night,” which is a connotation and an example of imagery and that shows this as a symbol of light and beauty of the dark of the night.
