3 idiots is a 2009 Indian comedy-drama film directed by Raj Kumar Hirani with a screenplay by Abhjit Joshi and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. It was loosely adapted from the novel Five Point Someday by Chetan Bhagat. 3 idiots stars Aamir Khan ,Kareena Kapoor,R.Madhavan Joshi,Omi vaidya,Parikshit Sahni and Booman Irani. This film start with Engineering hostel in india. Rancho(Amir Khan), Farhan Qureshi and Raju Rastogi were living in same room. When everybody are studying hard that time Rancho making fun and he was understating the basic level of study. Other student was tried to pass the exam and Racho always tried to learn something new. He always open the part of Tv, and freeze. College professor Viru "Virus" was very rude and intelligent. He could write with two hands. He didn’t like Racho. Rancho’s room partner Farhan didn’t like engineering field, but his forced him to study engineering. He wanted to become a professional photo grapher. Until this story in this film they just show college building and hostel. They wear young general’s cloth like shirts,T-shirt, and jeans pant. Professor Viru wear the simple cloth and he was listening traditional music 5 min every day during the save time. One time in the dark night 3 friends went in to the near by city. He were hungry. They show in the party hall someone’s marriage party going on. So, they decided to go inside for dinner. Racho gave them idea to wear Indian traditional cloth with pink turban.so they did and they went in side.But, unluckily that party was arranged by professor Viru. He caught them. Over there Rancho met to the Viru’s daughter Kareena Kapoor. During the college time Rancho made fun on chatur(Engineering student). So he get drunk and on the wall he wrote that after 10 years today’s date they will meet there and see who is the more successful person. Rancho saved viru’s older daughter’s life. Virus finally reconciles with Rancho and his friends, allowing them to stay for their final exams, and giving Rancho an astronaut pen, a symbol of excellence.
Their story is framed as intermittent flashback from the present day, ten years after Chatur vowed that he'd become more successful than Rancho. Chatur, who now boasts of his wealth and his bright career with an American company, is eager to rub it in Rancho's face. Raju and Farhan have tried to find
