The Veldt Foreshadowing Analysis

Many readers look back at Ray Bradbury for his skilled use of foreshadowing. In his story, The Veldt, he used a lot of strong, creepy foreshadowing that gives the reader a chill. It’s about a family who lives in a futuristic house with a virtual reality room. In the beginning of the story, he tells the reader something is wrong with the nursery by saying, “‘George, I wish you’d look at the nursery,’”(15) and Lydia, George’s wife, doesn’t know what’s wrong, but he gives the reader a sense that there is something different about it. The reader is later informed that the virtual reality in the nursery was now real. He tells them that this by saying, “‘Let's get out of this sun, this is a little too real.’” Another way to say it is the nursery,
