In the story, “The Veldt” by Ray Bradbury, technology is presented as something that makes life easier. In fact, technology makes life so easy that it's not really living anymore. The parents, George and Lydia, spoil their children, Wendy and Peter, with gadgets that will do everything the children demand. The theme of the story is that if you get everything you demand, you won't behave properly experience the real world. Despite all gadgets that the family have, the family becomes more dysfunctional as the story progresses.
