In the book, “Spider Woman’s Granddaughter”, I believe the sections are titled The Warriors”, “The Casualties”, “The Resistance because a movement is comprised of many people and groups working towards a common goal. This is because there are many different interpretations of what traditional culture & values are, what decolonization would look like (the goal), and how to achieve it (the strategy). Warriors discovers positions, commencing the perspective of Native women, typically of the 19th century, mutually traditional, talking to an anthropologist who is willing to record it, as Pretty Shield does. The women warriors whose broadly diverse truths are narrated here are fighting to save what may be saved against the white invasion and racism.
