It’s not what you have it’s what you don’t have that counts (Raskin #43). The book The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin includes lots of mysteries. Since the beginning of the second trimester, the sixth grade Gull Lake Middle School ELA classes read the book and watched the movie, The Westing Game. The Westing Game experience contains many red herrings and mysteries that are worth finding out.
The Westing Game book and movie has lots of similarities. The setting of The Westing Game has lots of similarities. In the book and movie they live in Westingtown in Sunset Towers. The westing house is also apart of of the setting in the book and movie. For example in the beginning of the book and movie it is about the Wexlers moving into Sunset Towers.

They have differences such as the characters and bombs. In the movie Angela and Grace Wexler are more of a real sassy sister and also more of a loving mother. For example in the book Grace said that, maybe Turtle was switched at birth. Also in the movie Angela has a sass when talking to Turtle like normal sisters are like. Also the characters are different because some of the characters aren’t in the movie like in the book. For example Flora Baumbach wasn’t in the movie and that’s because Grace is more of a mother and also that the movie doesn’t have the relations part of it like in the book. The bombs are also apart of differences. There are two bombs in the movie unlike in the book, it has four bombs. For example the second bomb is on the first floor in Hoo’s restaurant during Angela’s wedding shower. Also they’re in different places. The Westing Game has differences such as the characters and the bombs.
The Westing Game contains crazy experiences that the characters face and many things that are worth being exploited. The Westing Game book and movie has lots of differences and similarities such as the characters, bombs, protagonist and antagonist, and settings.
