Melinda Sordino’s freshman year is off to a horrible start because of something that had happened last year. Her and all the other students from last year were having an end of school year party and she busted it by calling the cops. Now that she is in high school her friends and even some strangers still hate her. Months pass and nothing has really changed and they aren't getting better either. To everyone else she is the lowest of the low. Everyone avoids her at school. But after a while she explains what actually happened that day at the party.
