Theme Of Casino Royale

Casino Royale was a reboot to the original which premiered in 1967. While viewing this film, a few themes that stood out to me was power, control, misogyny and loyalty. James is a character who needs to be in control of all personal matters and missions due to his often captures and being an agent. Oftentimes, James is concerned about loyalty within his operation. For example, in his mission he was assigned another agent and he was concerned. This was a major theme because this reboot was the ending of wars, which in previous papers many from the west and east such as Trevelyan in Goldeneye. Being betrayed on a mission not only was troublesome to the completion but also could lead to death. One example is Le Chiffre. Le Chiffre was disloyal
