Life’s greatest accomplishments come from the heart. The choices that Sanger Rainsford in “The Most Dangerous Game” kept him alive. Rainsford fights for his life against the evil of General Zaroff and Ivan, which are two Cossacks. The themes that are portrayed vary, but include hate and selflessness. They are expressed throughout the story, but some at climactic times.
